Meet Jessica M. Stubbs, CPA, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer for Chelsea State Bank (CSB). Jessica joined CSB in 2011 as Assistant Vice President and Compliance Officer. She was promoted to Vice President in 2014, Chief Financial Officer in 2017 and Senior Vice President in 2020.
With a full career in financial services, Jessica has over 22 years of experience beginning her career as a Teller with a community bank in Albion and moving through the ranks to Vice President. Before joining CSB, Jessica was an Audit Manager at an accounting, tax and business consulting firm.
Jessica graduated from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management. She earned her CPA license in 2003. In the community, Stubbs is the Treasurer of Christian Fellowship Bible Church and a Board member of Ele’s Place Ann Arbor. She is also a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Jessica has progressed in her banking career at CSB demonstrating keen leadership and a strong commitment to serving the Bank’s employees and customers. When asked what she treasures most about her career at CSB, without hesitation Jessica says, “The people!”
When not in the office, Jessica especially enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband of 14 years, Tony, are the proud parents of daughter Kiera (7th grade) and son Tony (6th grade). Both children attend Chelsea Schools.
